The year 2023 has been a year of ups and downs. So much to experience learn enjoy and grow.
The year started with so much hope and expectations. Looking back here are the highlights of this year
- My sister moved to the country side beautiful villa they bought.
- We finally got to register our first home.
- I was able to plan and finalize the interiors for our home with so much of personal touch
- We moved house after a long time and surprisingly adjusted well there with lot of initial hitches.
- Got to go to Chennai and attend a family wedding meeting cousins after decades.
- We were able to buy motorbikes for my younger son and me and it has been a thrill watching him become independent and ride around the city.
- Joel escaped a major accident unscratched.
- Time and time again our financial needs were met through unexpected sources.
This year also had some major life events that had a major impact to me
- My aunt passed away after a prolonged period of illness
- There has been a major fallout with my cousins that shook the core of my being
This year has taught me so may things
- Be grateful for all things we have especially life and family he has blessed me with.
- Be thankful for such an amazing God who took care of us amazingly well in all areas
- Life is not easy and at times its really tough. But as we hold on and not give up it sure comes around and makes it a wonderful learning experience.
- It good to let go and heal the emotional pain in the process than to hold on for self gratification.
- Learning life lessons as a grown up is very tough as it involves so much unlearning and change.
- No matter how much life gets tough never ever give up
Finally 2023 has been an amazing year and has helped me to grow as a person. Now am ready to jump to the new year with hopes and faith that all will work for my good in 2024.
